If you have made a purchase on the Mitico online sales website and are a consumer customer you have the right to withdraw wholly or partially from the purchase contract of non-food items that are the subject of the order, without giving any reason within 14 days calendar ("Withdrawal Period") from the day you received the goods.
We remind you that, as provided for by current legislation (Art. 59 of the Consumption Code), the right of withdrawal of food products subject to order can not be exercised, even if the packages have not been altered; the only exclusions are given by foodstuffs received with the expired deadline or defective. In order to exercise the right of total or partial withdrawal of the goods within the prescribed time, you simply will be able to send any explicit statement, such as e-mail or fill out the model type of withdrawal letter you can download here; after completing it by following the various instructions it will be possible to deliver it by mail to Mitico di Raggi Chiara & C. S.n.c., Piazza dei Consoli, 44-45, 00175 Rome or by e-mail at email@example.com, through a explicity statement withdraw from the purchase contract ("Declaration of Withdrawal"); the withdrawal by e-mail or by mail allows us to register the day on which your withdrawal request was made for the protection of both parties.
Once your withdrawal request has been registered, you must return the products within 14 days from day you notified us of your withdrawal, by choosing one of the two options:
- ship back the goods to the Mitico store, at Piazza dei Consoli, 44-45, 00175 Rome, IT;
- if it is congenial, return the goods, hand and free, directly to the Mitico store;
In the case of the first option, the direct cost of returning the goods will be borne by the consumer, even if the return was motivated by the refusal of a replacement. The cost is estimated between a minimum of €7.50 to a maximum of €19.90 for shipments to Italy and a minimum of €16.50 to a maximum of €112.00 for those to european countries covered by the shipping service. The specific rates as well as the european countries covered by the service can be reached and downloaded from the links in paragraph "9. Shipments”in the Terms and Conditions section of our site.
If the withdrawal is partial, through the Declaration of Withdrawal, we will take note of the products you wish to return and we will quickly provide you, by e-mail, the amount of the relative shipping costs.
In the case of total withdrawal, the entire amount of the purchased goods will be refunded while in the case of partial withdrawal, through the Declaration of Withdrawal, we will make the calculation of the amount to be refunded on the basis of the products indicated; in both cases the initial shipping costs will be refunded. The refund will be made by us within 14 calendar days from the day you inform us of your intention to withdraw from the purchase agreement
If the user withdraws from the purchase agreement, Mitico will redeem the amount paid by the user for the products subject to the withdrawal; the refund will be made by us within 14 calendar days from the day the user informs us of the will to withdraw from the purchase contract.
Refund will be made using the same payment method used by the user for the initial transaction, or it can be easily communicated by the user according to their needs; in any case, it will not have to bear any cost as a consequence of such refund.
Reimbursement may be withheld for more than 14 days only until the consumer has demonstrated that he or she has returned the goods or until they have been received by us or if he or she decides to avail of a carrier of their own choice for the return of products, depending on which situation occurs first.
The consumer is responsible for the diminution of the value of the goods resulting from manipulation of the goods other than the one required to establish the nature, characteristics and operation of the goods.
The consumer is obliged to return the goods subject to full and complete returns, so that they will not be damaged during shipment. If the items were damaged or lost during transportation, or if they were sent at the expense of the recipient, Mitico di Raggi Chiara & C. S.n.c. will charge the costs to the user.
